Beginning acceleration on the runway

Liftoplane: beginning acceleration on the runway RSI: beginning acceleration on the runway

The time scaling is 1:10

During this operation, the rotors have the highest forward winding speed of about 24.7 m/s, providing acceleration of about 0.275g and consuming a power of 60.1 kW. This mode of operation can be referenced as “propelling” mode, since the thrust force is horizontal. This thrust force acts on a relatively small Thrust Specific Area, leading to the highest inflow of 7.49 m/s due to the low speed of the aircraft, which is only 10.44 m/s. The propulsion efficiency is only 58.45 percent. The aircraft is handled by using the biangular handling based on pitches with values of –40.0° and 40.0°. The rotors have a PGS-state (-5.6°, -66.1°, -5°) with the high magnitude of the negative gain.
